Brockmann s Tall, Dark Dangerous series is addictive fluff.
Man in uniform romances are hit and miss, and this one is a miss This friends into lovers story has a light plot and several annoyances, starting with a prologue that does not seem connected to the rest of the story However, there s an element of grittiness and toughness in the heroine, and diversity than one often finds in romances, especially older ones The author is prolific, so I m planning to check out some of her other work.
I love most of Suzanne Brockmann books and this was no exception I really enjoy getting to know each of the Seals However, I listened to an audiobook narrated by Alexandra Fisher Her voice becomes like fingernails on a chalkboard I think I would have liked the protagonist, but her voice is so whiny and nasally that it was hard not to hate her.
