This was my first book to read by this author It was a short read of about 80 pages It was your standard MC suspense story of the MC president s daughter on the run from a rival club and being saved by the alpha bad ass president of another club The catch here is that the H is the former best friend of the h s father and is twenty years her senior When she was a child the H and the h s father had a fight and the H was banished from the club He subsequently establishes his own club The h s father [...]

This one was just OK for me I just didn t really ever feel a connection between Kira and Orion It wasn t the age difference 20 years and it wasn t that she grew up thinking of him as an uncle I m ok with all that There just really wasn t a connection and on top of that, the sex scenes were really quick and there was just seemed to be something missing.

A poorly written short storyI found this story gritty and slightly absurd The story was ok, it was about death and re inventing the heroine but the writing was terrible Pieces of sentences and moments all broken up to somehow say at the end that these two people loved each other They confess that they dont know why they behave the way they do, so this reader was absolutely confused The Hero came across as just mean It was pretty awful.
The sequel to Know Me has just been released It is awesome It is a full length novel and it has all the things we love in a MC book Bad ass character, Swoon worthy men in leather, issues to resolve, and suspense make Promise Me a great book Check it out.I really don t get the low reviews I thought this book rocked Yes, it was a little short, but I hope this is the first of many to come I would definitely read from this author Great short read and leaves you wanting .

2.5 to 3 stars What piqued my interest was the fact that Kira falls for her father s best friend who is the President of a different MC Ooooh, the taboo of falling in love with an older man, a member of another MC but there were so many unanswered questions and holes to the story What the hell was the fallout between Orion and her father about I m still dying to know what the hell happened And Kira she was born and raised in the MC, severely sheltered I get it, but how could she be so seriously [...]
Short and disturbing Orion was there, when Kira was born He helped to raise her for ten years But when Kira s father was killed and she turned to him for help he only thought view spoiler about fucking her hide spoiler Seriously I know he is a badass biker but does he have to be a pervert At least give them some time to get to know each other Show, there are some feelings and not some perverted desire to retaliate against her late father by ruining his virgin daughter.
Too short Ending was rushed Not enough character or relationship build up Disappointing.

IT S OKAYThis a first read for me by this author While I liked her writing style she has a gritty edge to her storytelling This was not without its problems Due to its short length I couldn t quite get my head around the immediate relationship between Orion and Kira There was also the slightly ick factor going on As Orion had been her father s best friend and VP of the MC her father had been president of, till they fell out when Kira was around ten Orion had always been like an uncle figure in h [...]
The writing is good, and while it s a bit grittier than the other works of hers that I ve read I can t see why some gave this low marks It s a MC, it s gritty, not to everyone s taste but the blurb clearly explained what it was about I always get irritated when people are nasty in their reviews over the fact they didn t like the premise of a book, read the blurb.

Ok story but didn t really connect with the characters.
Orion and Kira I m surprised how much I enjoyed this story I love a May Dec romance but the 20 year age difference stretched even my acceptance Still, I didn t doubt the depth of their connection by the end I found the characters interesting and even the smallest side character had some depth While not rubbing the readers face in the violence, there was definitely grit than glamour There s the typical sexist attitudes to women for the genre but none of overblown sluttiness some MC books have It [...]
Not too bad, except the h and lesser extent the H annoyed the crap out of me, that can be somewhat of a problem when the book features them 99% of the time I had a lot of trouble thinking of the main character having the name Orion I can t imagine using that name in everyday life it doesn t sound right to me shrug view spoiler although one of the sweetest moments in the book was when he told her his real name hide spoiler Looking forward to book 2, I am willing to give the author a second chance [...]
So this was one of those that grips you from the first page I loved that the author kept the MC life realistic in that these characters were hard no matter what It was never light and fluffy There was always that question on how the relationship would be But it wasn t so hard that you questioned faithfulness.So if you love an MC that s gritty, but don t like the idea of cheating, this short tale is for you.It s quick, it s dirty and it s to the point Oh yeah and there s about 20 years difference [...]

I wish there had been There was a beginning and an End.There really wasn t too much of a story in the middle.
