The above book blurb is quiet sufficient in giving you a glimpse of the story and rather than going into it again, I d like to tell you why I think this story is worth your time and money. What is very obvious in every book I ve read so far from Ms Harmon is that she respects her audience and gives them heroines that the said audience, and I suspect the author herself, can be proud of Yes there are heroes aplenty in her stories, and mostly all Alpha males, yet when she writes her heroines I am al [...]
My Lady Pirate by Danelle HarmonI enjoy pirate stories and when the pirates are women, I enjoy them .The description of the book I am listing below is from the back jacket of the book I m adding it because I believe the one on the page does not depict this story QUEEN OF THE SEAMaeve Merrick is the notorious Pirate Queen of the Caribbean a fierce and fiery she wolf burned by the treachery of men Sensuous and independent, she sails the world s oceans with her loyal band of women warriors Desiring [...]
Darn you Danelle Harmon I love your characters so much In this third book of the heroes of the sea, we meet the next generation of the Merrick family I really loved this book I loved the characterization of Lord Nelson in the book as well I m glad I got the whole series at once so I don t have to wait for the next one
Pirates and AdmiralsI do not enjoy all the arguing The book was long, but the ending was rushed It sounds like I did not like the bookbut I did I can t wait to begin the next one.
Love the adventure, but the sexual conquest is too graphic for me I enjoy reading books in series that trace the family heritage.
This Hero Has A Wonderful Character You Want To Know Him The book starts out with the Pirate Gray the scourge of the Spanish Main On his way to his latest local conquest the Lady Catherine a sugar Merchant s daughter who satisfies her carnel interests while her father is away Things don t go as planned, and the Pirate Gray, falls from his boat and is separated from his crew in the dark He loses contact with his crew, sees his ship sail off without him, and never meets his Lady Alone, in the dark [...]
Gray, the pirate, was headed for a tryst, when fate knocked him off his ship, and with the help of an intelligent dolphin, washes up on the island domain of Maeve Merrick, the feisty Pirate Queen of the Caribbean Betrayed by her first lover, and then by her own father view spoiler the history of the latter betrayal doesn t paint a kind picture of Maeve, but at least she recognizes the fact hide spoiler , Maeve isn t really looking for a man to complicate her life Nevertheless, her crew has talke [...]
A great humorous read with full of laughs from the main two charactersI loved every bit of the book the story and it s characters, but most of all I loved Sir Graham Gray Falconer He was a loveable hoot from the beginning to the end I loved his playfulness and humor so much so that at certain scenes I had tears swelling up in my eyes from fits of giggles especially when Maeve found him unexpectedly in her bed and his undieing persistence when it came to wooing and convincing Maeve that he was in [...]
When I read the previous story, Captain of My Heart which is based on the heroine s parents, I didn t think that book could be topped but Danelle Harmon wrote another winner with this one Another swoon worthy hero, I absolutely adored Gray Maeve was another spunky heroine just like her Mother and Gray was perfect for her Lots of interesting characters and even a real life hero included in the mix I loved how Admiral Nelson was portrayed so much that I went online to research his history for myse [...]
This book was my very favorite, so far, of this fabulous series I just loved the hero, Gray He was so patient, so clever and so amusing in the way he handled the little Pirate Queen I particularly loved the way the author portrayed Admiral Lord Nelson He was a great addition to this book and made me want to google him to learn about this incredible, heroic man England s greatest naval hero There were two scenes at the end that brought tears to my eyes, for they were equally heartwarming and hea [...]
Danelle Harmon continually creates characters with panache i.e lots of energy and style Plots within plots create a novel that is difficult to stop reading Everything in an everyday life does not exist for her readers.
Loved Sir Graham and the fact that he acted out his fantasy of being a pirate Maeve is as feisty a heroine as you might find they make quite the couple A few disconnects in the book had me thinking but still enjoyed the book
My Lady PirateI have never given a five star review I thought the last series she wrote was great This is an outstanding book It is my favorite do far in this series of books The others were very good, but again this one is OUTSTANDING Just my opinion.
Danelle Harmon again creates completely unique and quirky characters Who can t love an admiral obsessed with pirates Very sweet and fun ride.
My favorite part of this story this series in fact is that the heroines are strong With this genre historical romance , you never know Well written and entertaining
My favortite of the Sea Captain series
godawful florid prose
Awesome Loved it The excitement, twists and turns and romance made it hard to put down I also really enjoyed the tying in previous characters from other stories in this series.
