This book literally holds you captive till its endIt s so beautifully written you will easily fall in love with it.The characters are amazing ,Mari is so funny and down to earth and then there s Ambrose , the complete package I just fell in love with it and I m pretty sure you will too.

I was never the biggest fans of mermaids until I read this And now I wonder why I never gave them a chance This novel is fantastic, as it keeps you interested and immersed in the story and you just do not wish to put it down It has its humorous bits, its serious bits, and its sweet, romantic bits and its the perfect combination.3
I can t really remember how I ended up finding this book through millions of other books on wattpad but I m glad that I did I loved every single part of this book Especially the ones that had Mari and Ambrose together Ambrose was nothing but flawless The book was written beautifully I recommend it

I read this book on wattpad and I fell in love after the first chapter I adored Mari and her completely naive preception of the world and her quirky defense mechanisms The only fault would be the not quite as brilliant ending, it was just a bit abrupt I liked it still but it wasn t as good as the rest of the book.Summed up in three words, I d say Captive was Funny, engaging and face paced.
