I really liked Howl and couldn t wait to get my paws on this one This is the perfect ending Short and sweet with only 123 pages, but full of action, romance and drama Daniel returns at Sophie s behest Everyone seems to be OK with it but her twin Tristin Tristin still doesn t trust Daniel and makes it very apparrent Not knowing quite why he s there, and Sophi unwilling to admit why she called him back even to herself, there is a lot of sexual tension between the two.Sophi is still Alpha, pack mas [...]
Some time ago I read Howl and thought it was a standalone book, then i found out that there would be a sequel and immediately added it to my to read list It really is a great sequel, I thought that the first book could be read as a standalone, but after reading this book I think that the sequel was nessecary. The story is fast paced, involves lots of wolves and actions and even some drama and romance The romance is an important part of the story I think, but not everything resolves around it, it [...]
I received a copy of Embrace by Annalise Grey from the Nexus group on so thanks to the author and the mods for making this available I had the opportunity to review the first book in the Kane Wolves series a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed so I jumped on the chance to review this one. This book takes up shortly after the last one left off, Sophie faces the challenge of being the only female alpha in what is very much a man s world Sophie only wants to live her life with her family and be le [...]
Title Embrace Kane Wolves 2 Author Annalise GreyGenre YA mature , Romance, Paranormal, FantasyFormat EBook Length 402 The story continues right were it left off in Howl Sophie continues to be Alpha of two packs but has a lot to learn When she discovers the truth and what her grandfather was hiding You are going to say Shut the Front Door With the new discoveries she can be Alpha for her entire race but with it comes sacrifices and what else will she gain with this new discovery.I loved the first [...]
I really liked this story I received this book free for an honest review Before I read it, I figured it was fair to read the first book in the series so I could have a good idea about the story I m glad I did because I was comfortable diving in and knowing what was going on The first thing I noticed was that the flow of the story was much improved from the first book and the main character, Sophie, had matured into her promise from the first book Sophie has to take on a lot responsibility and h [...]
This book continues where we left off in Howl Sophie is the Alpha of two packs but really doesn t want to be the Alpha and in fact simply wants to be with her family But strange things happen suddenly with the return of Daniel Secrets that her Grandfather hid for years are now coming out and are important to the future of their pack With these secrets and all the discoveries she can not only be Alpha for her pack but basically every pack But it will come with sacrifices and the question is, is s [...]
So I LOVED Howl, and I really couldn t wait to read this one Howl left is hanging and I needed to finish what was started So, this is two books that make a duology, instead of a trilogy I liked that too There s a lot of action going on, and suspense, which kept my pages turning, and hope for the romance Sophie asked Dan to come back Sophie s twin Tristan is not ok with this because he doesn t trust Dan, and no one really understands why she needed him to come back But she s still alpha, not just [...]
I loved jumping back into the Sophie s world Sophie has really come into her own in this book She is now the Alpha and having to deal with all that comes with it I loved that she was so strong I loved that she was a women Alpha at that We rarely see the side of wolves through the eyes of women and girls and I think the author conveyed it so well We got to see the softer vunerable side of things I loved that Sophie had such love for her family and was really trying to make it all work with the c [...]
Sophie Matthews is trying to adjust to the changes of being an Alpha wolf while rebuilding and repairing the damage done by Jason Larsen She feels at times that she s not getting anywhere and others it seems to be working Only one loose end can make or break both packs Daniel Daniel was told to leave by Sophie and never come back yet she s offering him a choice to do just that Daniel is unsure of Sophie s motives yet decides to take her up on her offer much to the dismay of her twin brother Tris [...]
I have not long finished Howl the prequel to this novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so to say that I was looking forward to reading Embrace is an understatement This novel begins not long after Howl finishes Sophie is the Alpha of her family s wolf pack having defeated the Larsen family s Alpha at the end of the the previous novel She is the first female Alpha that the wolf packs in America have ever had and some of the male Alpha s have taken a dislike to her The only way for Sophie to save he [...]
More like 4.5 stars Received free e book in exchange for an honest review through the ARR Authors Requesting Reveiws program on Embrace by Annalise Grey is the sequel to Howl which introduces Sophie, the female Alpha of two packs I loved how it continues right after the cliffhanger of the first book I hate feeling that I may have missed something which can happen with other series I felt that Grey improved with her writing, but successfully kept the blend of action and romantic tension in the st [...]
3.5 Stars I received Embrace from the author for review through ARR Nexus on The continuation of the Kane Wolves story hit the ground running and the action did not stop At the end of Howl, I was not sure about Daniel, but feel he redeems himself in Embrace Sophie finds her place protecting her family and pack even though it takes her awhile to admit it And Jamie turns out to be the great guy I thought he was to begin with Great characters, engaging story, I enjoyed it very much and was disappoi [...]
Embrace is the second book of the Kane Wolves series and begins where Howl left off I really enjoyed the first book and this book does not disappoint The story has action, romance and deals with family Sophie is a brave, bright lead in the novel and of her pack She faces many difficult issues in this book, and shines throughout Her family history was interesting, and adds another layer to her werewolf heritage In her romance triangle, does she finally choose between Jamie and Daniel Great book I [...]
I loved this book even than I loved Howl It was a fast and fun read I really admired the heart in this book Overcoming weakness and defying the odds is the message I took away from this story I was very satisfied with the ending and am sad that there will probably not be another one I will be looking for Annalise Grey in the future
The cutest ending
This was great Such an amazing sequel I love Sophie and Daniel Highly recommend So great.
Giveaway Winner Another great book Loved it
Really likable characters Original plot.
I read Howl over a year ago but loved it enough the story was fresh in my mind, Embrace picked up the tension and drama flawlessly, grabbing me right at go.I love seeing how Sophie deals with the weight of responsibility she now has It shouldn t be easy and seamless and it is not I like that the author keeps it real and doesn t make Sophie a super emotionless bad ass I appreciate the depth of character built here, after Howl there were a few questions I am happy to say are answered, and some sur [...]
What a shake up I hadnt expected Daniel to be back, let alone to be about 50 percent of the book Wow And these spoilers view spoiler Holy cow I wanted her to end up with Jamie but wow I love Daniel I still love Jamie because I can t completely give up on him but yes, I am a Daniel convert And the eleven magic I thought finding out her grandfather was human was a big twist hide spoiler There s not to much to say that won t give it away so I ll just end with this I really liked the first book in t [...]
I liked Howl, so I was anxious to get my hands on this book It didn t dissapoing I really enjoyed it It starts off where Howl left off with Daniel gone and Sophie leading her pack Then Daniel gets a letter delivered from Sophie s brother stating that he can come back to the pack That s when things start to get interesting. The chemistry between Sophie and Daniel was undeniable I remember being on Team Jamie when I read Howl but Daniel really won me over in this installment I thought it was a quic [...]
So I received Howl from the author for free, and after reading it, immediately ordered Embrace I adored the writing style throughout the whole series and could not put Embrace down The plot left you on the edge of your seat and I honestly felt sad when I finished it Like, I ll never be able to experience this the same way This tends to happen to me a lot though but all in all, this was an excellent read
So the sequel to Howl was an interesting plot It was a quick read and was fast paced There were quite a few grammatical errors that I stumbled upon while reading this book that made it difficult to really understand what was happening during the major battle scene All in all, the story was enjoyable and unique.
this book rocked it was so frigging good
