Diary of a SuccubusI couldn t even make myself finish this book I got half way through it and I just couldn t read any This story was confusing and all over the place and it definitely didn t interest me This was just not my kind of read.
Great bookThis was a great read Different from what I am use to reading Fast read, hard to put down I would recommend this book to any James Patterson reader.
So this isn t my usual type of reading, but I was surprised how invested I was in the story Started listening to it on audiobook great narrator while I went for my walk then finished reading while sitting on my back patio on this nice day As usual James Patterson chapters are short and to the point and since this is only 128 pages, there is not any unnecessary words added A killer with a little witchcraft and magic Loved it
I don t understand the polarizing ratings of this book, which usually hints something controversial or esoteric sometimes a hidden gem in the rough.But it s not the case with this book It s an interesting read short and rather uncomplicated.It s about a mysterious woman, a witch, a succubus, who has mystical powers One of those powers is the ability to steal a man s soul from a kiss It s story of her fight against another clan of mystical beings, the story of her dark past, and the brief romance [...]
I read anything that has James Patterson s name attached to it so I m always giving his co author s a chance by reading their books Unfortunately, this one was not that great Maybe had I read what the book was actually about before starting it, it wouldn t have been so bad but I doubt it I m only giving 3 stars because of James Patterson s association and the book didn t have any proofreading errors.
Okay for something to while away the time.I never really connected with the main character, and it was an obligation to finish something I started than pure joy that kept me reading As always, the book was well written and well edited, but the charisma was lacking in the characters The ending was quite abrupt and disappointing Saying any would give too much information I don t believe that I ll read any by this co author.
No Book Shots for me.Unfortunately, another loser for Patterson Ever since he introduced the Book Shots the quality of writing has gone steadily downhill There is no depth to his books As a long time reader , Ifeel cheated by his little quickies No Book Shots for me.
I listend to this from the overdrive app from the library Not a bad story and moved quickly Few twists that I didn t realize were leading that way but then boom it was duh what did you expect.
